Veterinary Surgeons

A little bit about Nightingale Vets

In a nutshell, Nightingale Vets provides healthcare support for pets of all companion animal species, and the families to which they belong, in a calm, communicative, compassionate way.

Nightingale Vets comprises a multi-disciplinary team offering medical and surgical treatments, as well as preventative healthcare and end of life care to cater for every life stage of our patients.

We can only provide the excellent level of care for our patients, if we can also help their owners too and we want to make sure every owner feels heard, held, supported and guided at every stage of their engagement with us.

Who does Nightingale Vets support?

● Pet owners who value and love their pet as part of their family.
● People living local to Ashbocking within a 15-25 min drive although we have more and more people who are travelling 1 hour+ to come and see us which is hugely flattering!
● Pet owners and their pets who find travelling to the vets difficult or stressful.

● Pet owners who are facing the loss of their pet.

What do Nightingale Vets offer?

● An emphasis on building personal relationships with pet owners and creating a very positive veterinary experience.

● Home visits to provide calmer veterinary care for patients and their owners.

● Provision of local veterinary care minimising stress to patients and owners and reducing carbon footprint through shorter travel times.

● Offering a bespoke, uniquely tailored end of life planning and euthanasia service supporting owners through the process of pet loss and through the act of laying their pet to rest, before, during and after the event.

How are Nightingale Vets able to deliver this care?

First and foremost, our team is our priority. The happiness and wellbeing of the people we work with is fundamental to our ethos. We believe that it is only when we are happy in our work, feel well supported, and have the help we need to achieve the goals we set ourselves, that we can really deliver excellent care to the patients and their owners to whom we are devoted.

We believe that kind and compassionate communication underpins everything we do, and with that in mind want to make sure that our team are involved in the business and enjoy an understanding of how we are going to make this project into reality and how we will move it forward.

We are super proud of the reputation we are building, and the best way to understand what we do and how it impacts our owners is to look at our reviews which now total over 250 five star ratings across three platforms (VetHelpDirect, Facebook and Google)  with many owners choosing to write lovely long and detailed accounts of how the care we have given has helped them. It is a huge privilege to have created a space where we can give such a high level of service and it makes me really happy to be able to do this not only for our clients but also for our amazing team.
